Hydro-Tech and Trimble Applanix Successfully Conclude Strategy Meeting to Strengthen Further Collaboration

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Peter Stewart, Mr. Water Guo, Mr. Can Wei from Applanix to visit our company. Hydro-Tech and Applanix started the strategy cooperation since 2020. Base on POS MV OEM modules, Hydro-Tech had developed series of multibeam built in INS, especially ultra-compact MS400U, which received rave reviews from customers around the world.

MS400U is a multibeam echo sounder specially designed for USVs and widely acknowledged by users for lake or reservoir survey due to its compact system layout with built in SVS and IMU + GNSS module same as Applanix SurfMaster. It is small size and light weight, which makes it a perfect to be deployed to USV, ROV and other small vessels. Effective depth rating can reach up to 200 meters. The titanium housing is robust and anti-corrosion.

Applanix introudced the latest In-Fusion+ technology during the meeting. This technology is the powerful and unique integrated GNSS/inertial navigation and can ensure to produce the most robust and accurate solution for mobile mapping possible at all times.

Looking ahead, we will continue to tightly couple multibeam with INS and design good products where a simple yet powerful workflow to enhance customer experience and expand our markets.
